I got into dentistry. I was born into it, essentially. My dad’s a dentist, so is my sister. I started working in the dental office when I was 13 in the summertime, cleaning instruments and helping out. And I know I always wanted to get into healthcare, and it turned out being a great decision. It’s a great blend of helping people, you know, tying in medicine and science, and also a bit of artistry as well. So you’re always challenged, which always makes it exciting. I believe the most rewarding aspect of dentistry is the instant gratification that one feels with it. Someone coming in, whether they have pain or they want something fixed, it’s usually that instant gratification that you can get with helping someone and they leave. And when you see them the next time, they’re like, I’m so glad that you were able to get me out of pain. I was able to enjoy my weekend, and I didn’t have to worry about it. And it kind of happens often, so it’s refreshing. What I want people to take away is, I just want them to know that, you know, we’re looking out for their best interest, and that they left having felt comfortable the whole time. And I know the dentist isn’t the place where people always find comfort, but we’re here to give them the best experience possible at the dentist.
Dr. Kyle Bautsch Loves Blending Artistry & Dentistry
Dr. Kyle Bautsch practically grew up in the dental office. He spent summers during high school cleaning tools and learning about dentistry. This experience made him appreciate the work his father and sister did for their community.
He proudly graduated from Texas A&M University and the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. Since June 2018, Dr. Kyle has been practicing dentistry alongside his father, Dr. Jerry Bautsch, who’s been both a mentor and a guide. He’s thankful for the opportunity to work with his dad and the fantastic office staff. Since practicing dentistry, he has discovered his favorite part is blending artistry, medical knowledge, and innovative thinking to provide the best care for his patients.
Dr. Kyle is a member of professional dental associations like the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Texas Dental Association. To enhance his skills, he’s also part of the North Houston Seattle Study Club and the Spears Study Club.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kyle stays active by working out, biking on Houston’s Greenway trails, exploring the city’s restaurants, and cooking. He loves traveling, especially to the beach with his family, partner Trent, and their two dogs.
